西灣學院於2020年成立社會創新研究所，社會創新研究所聚焦在培育社會創新與永續經營之領導人才，除了傳遞給學生知識之外，更重視能力之培育。期盼培養學生具有團體協作、問題挖掘、深度思考、個案分析以及場域實作等能力。
社創所希冀結合跨領域的思考和資源，作為異質連結的跨界平台，敞開更多對話、思想與行動的空間，共同創造更多可能性。以團體合作發揮集體力，跳出既有的視角與慣習，找到社會創新的觀念、方式或工具，解決當前世界局勢與台灣發展所遭遇的複雜課題，以善的循環擴大社會影響力，實現共學、共創、共好的理念
Founded by Si Wan College in 2020, the Institute of Social Innovation aims at cultivating talents in leadership for social innovation and sustainable management.
